In response to the devastating Bhopal gas tragedy and its profound impact on society, our organization felt compelled to address the resulting disabilities and challenges faced by individuals. In 2017, we inaugurated a branch in Bhopal with a strong commitment to serving Persons with Different Abilities (PDAs). Our Bhopal branch is dedicated to supporting multiple handicapped and underprivileged women. The success of our initiatives is attributed to a dedicated team comprising professional therapists, expert trainers, influential mentors, and a group of enthusiastic volunteers. Together, they bring a wealth of experience and passion to our cause. At present, our Bhopal branch is proud to accommodate around 100 beneficiaries, and we remain steadfast in our commitment to opening our doors to many more individuals in need.

One year ago, Khushi's life took an unexpected turn when she came to the Cerebral Palsy Association of India (CPAI). At that time, she was confined to a sleeping position, unable to sit up or respond to the world around her. The situation was heart-wrenching for her family. With unwavering dedication and continuous therapy and training at CPAI, Khushi's progress has been nothing short of remarkable. Gradually, with the support of the therapists and training at CPAI, she began to make strides towards a brighter future. From the early stages of sitting with support to gradually developing an understanding of her surroundings, Khushi's growth has been evident to all those who have been part of her journey. But it wasn't just the physical progress that made a difference in Khushi's life; her spirit and personality began to shine through as well. The once withdrawn and unresponsive girl started to show interest in her surroundings and the people around her. She slowly but surely began to socialize with her peers at CPAI, forming connections and building friendships. As Khushi blossomed, so did her family's hope and happiness. The relentless support and counseling they received from CPAI helped them cope with the challenges and uncertainties they faced. They learned to celebrate the small victories and cherish the progress Khushi made each day, finding strength in her determination and resilience. Khushi's story began to inspire not only her family but also those around her at CPAI. Her journey of transformation showed everyone the power of love, compassion, and specialized care. The therapists and teachers at CPAI found immense joy and fulfillment in witnessing her growth, knowing that they played a part in helping her reclaim her life. Today, Khushi is a shining example of the word "khushi," which means "happiness". Her infectious smile and positive energy light up the lives of everyone she meets. She continues to work hard, defying the limitations once imposed on her by her condition. Her progress gives hope to other families facing similar challenges, showing them that with dedication and support, miracles can happen.
